Terms of service
You keep what you write and what the engine writes for you. We keep the service running, charge for generation rather than for reading, and can suspend an account that uses the engine to produce what the Acceptable Use policy forbids.

The agreement
Creating an account accepts these terms, the Privacy policy, the Acceptable Use policy, and the Refund policy. StoriesForge is invite-only during the beta, and an invitation is personal to the address it was sent to.
The initial service is for adults aged 18 or older. Registration is restricted to countries explicitly enabled after review; no country is enabled by default. A world's content rating does not make the service suitable for children.
What you own
You own your inputs — premises, answers, decisions, directives — and, as far as we are able to grant it, the output generated for your worlds: chapters, turns, canon, and illustrations. We claim no license to publish, display, or sell them.
We store and process that content only to run the service for you: generating what comes next, keeping continuity, showing it back to you, and exporting it when you ask.
Generated text and images may be unoriginal or resemble other works, and copyright in machine-generated output is unsettled in many jurisdictions. We make no warranty that output is protectable or free of third-party claims.
What we owe you
A service that works as described, reasonable effort to keep it available, and honest accounting of credits. During the beta there is no uptime commitment, and generation depends on model providers we do not control.
When a generation fails, its credit reservation is released and the credits return to your balance. When it succeeds, the charge normally stands even if you dislike the result. Exception: if a Default RPG turn remains under 250 story words after its one automatic retry, that turn is free to you; the model calls still happened.
Credits and plans
Reading never costs credits. Credits are spent on outcomes: building a world, writing a chapter, advancing a turn, generating an image. A plan grants included credits each billing period; packs add purchased credits that do not expire while the account is active. Included credits are spent before purchased ones, and included credits do not roll over.
Plan prices, included credit amounts, and per-outcome costs can change. Changes apply from the next billing period, and we will not silently reprice a period you have already paid for.
Cooperative worlds
In a cooperative world every member reads and decides, and generation spends the owner's credits. The owner can delete the world, which deletes it for everyone. Invite only people you would trust with the story.
Suspension and termination
Ordinary subscription cancellation uses the billing portal and its displayed timing. Permanent account closure requests immediate cancellation of the linked subscription before application erasure. Closure can remain pending for recovery; completed erasure cannot be undone. Cleared credits do not restore on later registration and do not waive any applicable refund right.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks the Acceptable Use policy, charges back a legitimate payment, or attacks the service. Where the breach is not severe we will say what is wrong first and give you a chance to fix it.
Limits of liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for lost stories beyond restoring from our backups, for indirect or consequential damages, or, in aggregate, for more than the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We will publish a revised version here with a new date, and announce material changes in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that accepts the new version.
